This older home had good bones but was in need of a lot of updating–the renovation included the kitchen, dining area, primary bath and half bath. The concept for the kitchen and dining area was to create one cohesive look while utilizing two separate areas. Clean lines and rustic elements blend seamlessly to achieve a contemporary organic look that provides maximum functionality and comfort. The primary bath with its soothing gray and white tones and textures creates a space that feels inviting. The spa-like shower and bath is the ultimate place to relax and rejuvenate. Gold accents on the mirrors and sconces add a contrasting design element to complete this transitional style bathroom. For the half bath, the goal was to blend the contemporary, transitional and rustic styles existing throughout the house. The beaded wood cabinets and wood look floor tile ground the space giving it an earthy feel while the floating shelves and thinly-framed round mirror gives the space a modern flair.
