Helen Burch grew up in Chicago painting houses on the weekends with her dad. Visiting different homes and seeing the spectrum of colors, textures, trim and architecture cemented her love of all things related to interior design at a very early age
She has degrees in both Sociology and Interior design with national certifications from NARI and NCIDQ which provides her with a clear understanding of both design aesthetics and human nature. She has been specializing in residential new construction, remodels and design consultations for the last 20 years in both Southern California and Arizona.
She believes open dialogue and building trust are key components to a great relationship between the client and their designer. She will make your home an incredibly functional space designed to enhance your lifestyle and personal taste.
Amy, born and raised in Florida, started her design career back in 2003 in St. Louis, Missouri. Inspired by the beauty of the Sonoran Desert, Amy relocated to Tucson in 2007 and has been designing beautiful kitchens and baths in Southern Arizona ever since.
Amy is very organized and detail oriented, but her real strength is listening to the client and offering creative options and unique techniques to help them design the kitchen of their dreams. It's not just the materials used in developing a kitchen, but making it both functional and refined. Amy is innovative and can present several ideas to meet the homeowner's expectations for a well-designed kitchen.
Kitchen & Bath Designer
Carolyn Roberson was born in Louisiana and grew up traveling all over the country with her family.
During a brief period as a child they lived in Arizona and Carolyn fell in love with the desert. After living in Colorado and raising her two children she was finally able to move back to the desert and enjoy her time with her adult children and grandson.
Carolyn has been working as a bookkeeper in multiple industries but has always had a passion for the design industry. She has over 20 years experience working with a an interior designer in Colorado and is now utilizing her skills as the office manager / bookkeeper at LSD.
Nan, born and raised in New York and Connecticut, relocated to Tucson after living in Los Angeles for 15 years. Being the youngest of eight children, Nan had the “gift of the gab” and knew how to connect with people from a very early age! After receiving her Masters Degree in Applied Psychology, she had a successful career as a professional speaker teaching interpersonal communication seminars for one of the nation’s largest training companies.
In 2019, Nan and her husband Steve hired Living Space Designs to remodel their kitchen, and at the same time Nan was looking for a second career. Due to her love of decorating and design, and her positive experience as a client herself, she jumped at the opportunity when Living Space Designs was hiring for a Client Relations position.
Whether Nan is dealing with potential leads or current clients, she utilizes her intuitive abilities and trained skill set to actively listen and communicate in a way that makes people feel comfortable, confident and connected.
